Changes to Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to increase or introduce new prices for our products and services at any time. In the event that a Designscape Art & Craft product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, Designscape Art & Craft reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price, whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, Designscape Art & Craft will issue a refund to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.
Errors and updates
No liability for damage
At our discretion, we may choose not to deliver to a Post Office box or any address where delivery cannot be confirmed. If goods are being shipped to a person or address that is not the same as the cardholder and credit card billing address, we may contact you for additional details.
Your order should take 3-5 days to be despatched to you providing stock is available at the time of ordering. Please note that we do not hold stock of all items on our website and some items may be sent directly from our supplier to ensure our customers receive the latest version. We will inform you as soon as possible of any delays. If you have left a birthday or gift purchase to the last minute and would like your order to be prioritised, please note this in the special instructions field so we can escalate the processing of your order and despatch via an urgent shipping method. Designscape Art & Craft orders are always despatched using reputable delivery companies and couriers with strict delivery policies and schedules, and customers will be advised when orders are despatched and wherever possible tracking information provided. It is very rare for things to go missing, however if you are concerned that this may have happened, simply send us an email with your order number and we will immediately follow up with the delivery company involved.
If you believe that your goods do not arrive in good condition, do not hesitate to let us know, we do not sell products with damaged packaging without first advising you of this, so if your items arrive in damaged packaging we need to know about this. When signing for packages please check the small print as to what you are signing, some courier tickets have in small print received in good order and condition, which when signed would void any later claim for damage. In these circumstances, either ask the courier to wait while you open and inspect the goods or simply write subject to inspection. It is important that goods are opened and inspected promptly after delivery, as most courier companies have tight limitations on claims after delivery.
We do not accept responsibility for Customs charges or duty, or Customs handling of goods.
If your order requires your signature on delivery, you must be available to receive your order in person when it arrives. If your unavailability leads to the deliverable goods being returned to us, then all shipment costs will be payable by you. We are not responsible for loss or damage to goods that are delivered to an address which has been supplied incorrectly.
Returns and Refunds
For broken or damaged goods, please phone or email us and whenever possible, we will repair or replace any damaged or faulty goods, providing the damage is not caused through misuse. If repair or replacement is not possible, a full refund will be issued for the value of the damaged or faulty goods. If the goods have been damaged by the delivery company, please ensure you retain all packaging and take good photographs of the damage and packaging if possible. If it is obvious on receipt that the packing is damaged, we highly recommend inspection of the goods before signing for them. In the event of damage in transit, a claim for compensation from the delivery company will be lodged, and once the damage has been investigated and the claim accepted we will repair or replace the damaged goods or if the goods are no longer available. If repair or replacement is not possible, a full refund will be issued for the value of the damaged or faulty goods.
In any event, all returns must be by prior arrangement. Please contact us and you will be issued with a Return Authorisation reference which must be included with your return.
Designscape Art & Craft uses a secure credit card system supplied and hosted by Windcave for processing credit cards. All online credit card payments are processed by Windcave. Designscape Art & Craft does not have access to, or store your credit card number when you make an online purchase.
The other personal information you may submit when placing your order is treated as confidential. Your details are used solely for the purpose of fulfilling your orders. Please note that we may maintain some information about an individual sales transaction in order to service that transaction and for record keeping as required by our bank.
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information except for our website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, to enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others' rights, property, or safety.
